UP UP UP.

IT wasn’t until I was in my mid thirty’s that I decided to get more serious about not going tree planting. Coincidently this was the start of exploring the back country of Vancouver Island.

So, in height of summer of 2016, my partner Mike, our thirteen year old dog, and I decided to head of the hills. But it was more like heading up a wall as we continued to climb up up up! After our paddle cross the lake and getting up nice and early in order to make the most of our adventure and all of lifes’ mystery and unknown. We were stoked.

Long story short, I’d do it again in a heart beat.

A few things I learned for that next time: different shoes, less is more, a plan is key and it may be a good idea to check the weather especially if there’s a water crossing!
